Discovering Connecticut's Nesting Birds: A Guided Walk at the Sarah Bishop Preserve

Join WNC staff and member of the Ridgefield Conservation Commission for this guided walk upon which we will learn about some of the bird species that nest here in Connecticut! We will explore the wooded wetlands of the Sarah Bishop Preserve to look and listen for our feathered friends. Different types of birds can have drastically different strategies when it comes to making or finding a nest, and we will learn about some how some of our most unique species make use of different habitats and materials from nature as they prepare to raise their young.
