Woodcock Nature Center Waiver and Release of Liability:

READ BEFORE ACKNOWLEDGING:

1) I FULLY UNDERSTAND that some of the activities I and/or my child(ren) will be engaged in at the Woodcock Nature Center involve risks and dangers either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time; and I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of participation in such activities. I have been informed by Woodcock Nature Center as to some of the precautions I should take in order to reduce these risks such as wearing proper clothing and footwear and applying sunscreen and bug repellant and all other preventative measures recommended by the State of Connecticut and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in connection with COVID-19.

2) I HEREBY RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Woodcock Nature Center, Inc. and its employees, officers, agents, directors and volunteers, and agree to indemnify the foregoing from all liability, claims, demands, losses, injuries, damage to property, or other damages caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Woodcock Nature Center or otherwise arising out of my participation in activities at the Woodcock Nature Center.

3) In the event I suffer an injury at Woodcock Nature Center, I give permission to the staff to seek medical assistance. I give permission to emergency personnel and to any attending physician to render such treatment and agree to pay for the treatment.
