Solar Eclipse Viewing and Open House

Drop-in anytime between 2:30-4:30 to celebrate the eclipse that will be passing over large parts of North America. Educator Kevin Andros will answer your eclipse questions and provide safety glasses for viewing! For your safety, please do not view any part of the eclipse with the naked eye!
In Connecticut we will experience a partial solar eclipse starting at 2:11pm and ending at 4:38pm. For us that means about 90% of the sun will be covered by the moon with a peak at 3:27pm.
The nature center will also be open to visit our animals.
