What's at Your Bird Feeder?

Join the Ridgefield Conservation Commission and Woodcock Nature Center at Richardson Park, where we will learn to identify the bird species that might be visiting your feeders! A wonderful bird feeding station was installed at Richardson, so it is the perfect place to observe and learn about the common birds that visit feeders in the winter. We will talk about the different types of feeders and seeds and what they attract, and kids will be able to take home materials to make their very own pinecone bird feeders to continue observing and learning at home!
